This request also applies to vehicle traffic on the road between Pouch Cove and Cape St. Francis. Again, on Tely Hike Day access to this road is reserved for residents, cabin owners, event volunteers, and emergency vehicles.

This is a request to help the ECTA keep the Town and Cape St. Francis roads open and uncongested providing ease of access for our support and emergency vehicles, allowing us to provide for the safety of the hikers, as well as quick response and extraction, if required.

So please, park your vehicles at the School and take the bus . . .. . . the safe passage of the hikers is our number one consideration . . . your support and compliance with this request is appreciated.

Lets keep the Town and Cape St. Francis roads free of hiker operated vehicles.
